The Walmart Foundation supports programs and initiatives addressing hunger relief and healthy eating. Nonprofit organizations, K-12 schools, church or faith based organizations, and government entities are eligible to apply.
Since 1982, National Gardening Association has provided the Youth Garden Grant to over 5,000 schools, nonprofits, and youth programs across the United States. To be eligible for the 2015 Youth Garden Grant, your school or organization must plan to garden in 2014 with at least 15 children between the ages of 3 and 18.
The purpose of this grant is to incorporate middle school classroom materials or lessons that actively engage students in tasks and experiences to deepen and connect their content knowledge. For 2015-2016, grants with a maximum of $3,000 each will be awarded to persons currently teaching mathematics in grades 6–8.

The purpose of the Target field trip grant program is to fund learning opportunities outside the classroom.
