First Lady Michelle Obama, WGBH Boston, the U.S. Department of Education, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture invite you and your child to enter the 4th annual Healthy Lunchtime Challenge & Kids’ “State Dinner.”

 

"Before & After School Breakfast” Art Contest  Deadline March 31, 2015

2015 Easter Egg Roll Souvenir Poster and Program Design Contest     Deadline March 6, 2015

challenging families across the nation to show the First Lady five ways they're leading healthier lives. Artwork should reflect this year's theme, "#GimmeFive." The First Lady will select two winning designs, which will be used as part of the White House 2015 Easter Egg Roll program and souvenir poster.

 

Smart Snacks Contest   Deadline March 6, 2015

The National Education Association's Health Information Network has "launched a national contest to collect videos, photos and narratives about Smart Snacks implementation.  NEA is calling upon educators, food service and other support professionals, administrators, students, and families to enter the contest.

2015 Toyota Family Teacher of the Year:  Deadline December 31, 2014

The National Center for Families Learning (NCFL) is excited that you are investing your time to nominate a great family educator for the 2015 Toyota Family Teacher of the Year Award. NCFL and Toyota initiated this partnership 18 years ago to recognize the teachers in the nation who are best at engaging families in the educational process. School and community-based teachers who are exceptional at engaging families are eligible for nomination.

2014 Green Cleaning Award:  Deadline September 6, 2014

This award, presented in collaboration with American School & University magazine and the Green Cleaning Network, recognizes the efforts of schools around the nation with outstanding green cleaning programs. Through national recognition, it honors schools and their partners that embrace green principles and practices in their maintenance operations.

 BAC Drop Spring Story Contest   Deadline: May 30, 2014

National Public  Health Week  Deadline: April 30, 2014

2014 Healthy Lunchtime Challenge & Kids' “State Dinner”

Together, with the help of their parents, children ages 8 – 12 years old are invited to submit an original lunch recipe inspired by MyPlate. They could win the chance to attend the Kids' “State Dinner” hosted by First Lady Michelle Obama at the White House in Washington, D.C.

Childhood Obesity Challenge  Deadline:  March 3, 2014

The submission deadline for Round 3 of the AJPM Childhood Obesity challenge has been extended to March 31, 2013.
