Happy Birthday Let's Move 4 years stong!

Congratulations to Michelle Obama and the team at Let's Move.  It's been four great years and she has lead a strong campaign to raise awareness about childhood obesity.

I saw an interview where she talked about how challenging it was when she first announced this goal.  She had people telling her that this was a subject left to the privacy of parents and children.  Others thought this was a topic that would not gain momentum and interest.  

But she continued and would not be swayed.  Now we are beginning to seem some decline in the obesity rate among young children.  This is now a national issue and can no longer be ignored.  

I really relate to her because back in 2006 when I brought my idea of fighting childhood obesity with positive nutrition education games for kids and tools for parents, I was also told a similar story.  I couldn't get any support for my idea so I did it myself. I am proud to be one of the many champions that have contributed in some small way to help children!
