Citrus Slaw
A side dish that will make your dinner taste even better
Ingredients
- Red Wine Vinegar 2 tablespoons
- Brown Sugar 1 pinch/dash
- Salt 1 teaspoon
- Ground Pepper 1/4 teaspoon
- Cabbage, savoy 1 each
- Cilantro 1 cup
- Jalapeños 2 each
- Red Onion 1 each
- Liquid From Stewed Kidney Beans 1 each
- Oranges 1 each
Directions
Together:
Add all of the ingredients together in a large bowl and toss. Let sit for 15 minutes at room temperature so flavors meld.
Re-season with salt and freshly ground pepper as needed. Serve as a side dish, or as a bed for grilled meat or fish, or sausage
