Pasta from Can to the Pan

An easy to make dish that is healthy and the whole family will enjoy


  • Olive oil 1 tablespoon
  • Onion, diced 1 medium
  • Garlic, minced 4 cloves
  • Tomato sauce 1 1/2 quarts
  • Salmon 4 - 3 1/2 ounce cans
  • Black olives pitted and chopped 20
  • Crushed red pepper, 1/4 teaspoon
  • Capers, drained 2 tablespoons
  • Cooked linguini (or any other pasta) 1 lb


Adults: Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil until translucent. Add tomato sauce, salmon, olives and red pepper.
Adults: Cook over low heat for 20 minutes. Remove sauce from the heat.
Together: Add capers and toss with the pasta.
Adults: * Salmon can be bought in 4 3 1/2 ounce cans.
