Farm Animals Day Reminds Kids About Farm To Table Concepts
Posted on Oct 02, 2013 by Maggie LaBarbera
When we talk to kids about farm to table, we usually focus on the topic of food. Where does food actually come from, (not the grocery store!) and the process of growing food and how it actually gets in front of a child.
But we don't always talk about the farm animals. Obviously, this is also an important part of the farm to table. Where does meat and dairy foods actually come from?
To help you talk to younger children about the various farm animals we have a wonderful and very cute section of printable coloring pages, worksheets and activity pages to introduce farm animals to children. All of our printables are also available in a spanish version.
