Understanding your picky eater - key to more fruits and vegetables

Posted on Mar 31, 2010 by Maggie LaBarbera

Picky eaters is a term used for kids who are stubborn eaters and very hard to get them to eat a balanced diet rich in fruits and vegetables.  This can be a very tough and frustrating situation for parents.

There really isn't any magic solution because children are individuals and what works for some may not work for others.  But understanding your picky eater and learning proven tips that will help you get them to try new foods is the key to this challenge.   We have put together some very specific guidelines to help you, so don't despair.  And  remember, lots of gentle patience so you don't give up on healthy eating is the best strategy.
