Keeping your child healthy means taking them to the doctor for their check up.  This is the time for preventative care that will usually include a physical, behavioral and developmental check.  

The doctor or nurse will also give your child any immunizations and vaccinations that are due.

Your child should be seen by a pediatrician when he or she is*:

  •  3 to 5 days old   
  • 1 month old
  • 2 months old
  • 4 months old
  • 6 months old
  • 9 months old
  • 12 months old
  • 15 months old
  • 18 months old
  • 24 months old
  • 30 months old
  • 3 years old
  • 4 years old
